After my three month hiatus, I thought I would finally update my blog. :) If you were wondering, our chicken is no longer with us. On that fateful morning, Karla went out to our beloved chicken's cage only to find a pile of feathers scattered throughout the back yard... I'll let your imagination do the rest.
It's been an activity filled summer. Our school year goes through the end of June so that leaves about a month and a half of summer break. We have summer school during the month of July which consists of classes like English, art, remedial math and reading, and Hungarian. We have some awesome people from Hungary that are living at CVE! We are now a trilingual campus. I'm currently working on my Hungarian. I've worked really hard to learn all three of the words that I know... :) It turns out that Spanish is WAY easier than Hungarian! I was home for two weeks at the end of July and was thankful to be with family and friends! I also babysat Jodi Beer's three little ones (Jorge, Osi, and Keyla) for two weeks this summer.
Since arriving back in Mexico, I have been working to prepare my classroom for the first day of SCHOOL! :) I am incredibly excited to get back in the classroom! Enjoy the pictures!

Sarah, I'm inspired by your classroom. :) I'm teaching English down here and start on Monday... I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing! Thanks for posting. I'll be praying for you as you start your school year! love, Hannah
I start on Monday too! :) Don't worry, I have no idea what I am doing either! I usually just wake up in the morning and ask God to teach my classes for me. :) I'm sure that He will bless you far beyond your expectations! He is faithful! Love and Prayers :) --Sarah
